Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good washer, Dryer so-so Have this for almost a year now. The washer is great but the dryer is a bit disappointing. The design for some reason has a tendency to push items to front of dryer and often things just sit on top of the lint trap even when there is a moderate sized load. When dry mattress cover, for some reason keeps getting stuck between drum and the lint trap causing it to jam and stopping the dryer. This happens without fail all the time. Doesn’t matter if I throw other sheets in there to help dislodge. Lint builds up a bit around the bottom of the seal of the door. Not sure if because all th clothes get pushed forward against the door.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Design Flaw Bought this dryer and washer last week. There is a gap on each side of the lint trap which allows items to snag. From what I can see the gaps do not have any functionality. So far a mattress cover has been the only victim.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Same trouble as RJRJ I too have experienced the same problem RJRJ from Ottawa reported. When we run a load of small items (socks, underwear, etc.), these items pile up on the lint trap which causes the dryer to shut down after a few minutes. The indicator directs us to clean the lint trap, which is completely clear. This appears to be, as RJRJ suggests, a design flaw and I would be very interested to hear what Electrolux can or will do about it.. The response to RJRJ suggests that you will do nothing. Referring this query to a telephone help line is not helpful in my view.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed We have had the washer and dryer a few months now. Things get caught on the lint trap and pull it out.. when I heard loud banging I had to run to the dryer to stop it to find the lint trap in amongst the clothes and underwear now jammed into the fan. We got them out but they were ripped and ruined. This has happened three times how. We arent sure how to prevent it. The drum now has a couple tiny dents :( so disappointing in something so new and expensive.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dryer issues We have had the set for about 7 months. The lint filter has come out twice during the cycle. Not sure how this happens, and each time a piece of clothing has fallen in to the filter area and gets caught and is extremely difficult to get out, each item that has gotten caught is ripped. The second time that this has happened the lint filter has broke. We can’t find one anywhere. They offer them in the US but can’t seem to locates on here in Canada. The only other thing that is a disappointment about these machines is they are very loud when they run.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good features but one major issue Almost a year with this dryer, the belt broke once (covered by warranty) and the dryer stop at least 5 times always because of the same issue clothes get stuck and cause the dryer to stop spinning.. Too bad because this dryer has great functionalities. I don’t know what is the price for a belt replacement but in few months the warranty expired so fingers crossed. Drying half load won’t help as clothes are pushed against the window waiting to get stuck.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Clamshell lint filter issues We bought this in August and it worked well in the beginning. However, for the last 3 months, we have to tape down the lint filter or it lifts and comes out during the drying cycle and clothing ends up getting sucked into the hole!!! At first, I thought it was just a problem with the filter it came with so I spent over $100 to replace it but the new filter does the exact same thing. This is ridiculous! Is there a fix for this issue? I have had enough!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Design Flaw and terrible customer service!!! Do not buy the dryer! The same thing keeps happening over and over. Things get caught on the lint trap and then the belt burns in half. They just keep sending a guy with a new belt (takes about a month for someone to show up). And if you call customer service be prepared, horrible experience every time. Always rude and unhelpful. I will never purchase another product from this company
