Rated 2 out of 5 by from Design flaw? Unsure how I feel about this dryer. It’s definitely pretty and has many useful features, however that is not enough to make up for my issues with it now. Clothes have been catching onto the lint trap and causing it to be pulled out into the drum in the middle of a cycle. Clothes then get sucked into that space and now I’m afraid of turning it on for fear that I didn’t pull out a sock that I couldn’t see and it could start a fire! This has happened several times with the latest incident causing the lint trap to break as I was not at home to catch it in time. I have a service appointment set up but I do feel like this is a design flaw and can be very unsafe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So Frustrated We’ve had our dryer for six months. When it works it’s awesome. About one in every five loads it does not finish drying. When I check it it says clean lint so I check it and it’s always empty. Then I turn it back on and it will happen again in about 10 minutes. I’ve searched for videos or ways to fix it I have come up with nothing. I’ve called customer support and they told me I will get billed for the service if the technician can’t see the problem but since it only happens once in a while I’m not sure what to do next.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Money pit We bought this dryer approximately 2 1/2 years ago and we loved it then after awhile on the timed dry it would stop and say clean filter. We clean the filter every time we use it and we were told it could be the exhaust so we had someone put a new pipe and the vent outside still the same problem the about a month after that it wouldn't run and called the repair person and it was the mother board this cost $370.54 and that was with a 10% seniors discount after a week we put a load in for timed dry after 5 minutes it shut down and said clean filter so now i have $370.54 plus $155.00 to have new pipe and out side vent installed and if i call again its $65.00 for them to come and look at it plus parts and $85.00 per hour to fix. I paid approximately $1000.00 plus tax and I am going to be paying close to that to get it running after such a short period of ownership. This is the first time i have bought electrolux thinking i was buying quality but turns out to be worst appliance we have ever owned in our 52 years of marriage
