Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely Cannot recommend We bought this washer mostly based on the high reviews. We had had it 6 months & 1 day and both the pump and a shock were shot. Crazy to happen so soon. If the warranty service had been quick, my review would be higher. We have been without a washer for almost 4 weeks and still the repairman is waiting for a shock to come. This is ridiculous! Seems like Electrolux could be a lot quicker in getting parts out to people. There are 6 of us including a newborn and 2 year old. This has been a great inconvenience for too long!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely Disappointing! I bought this Washer and Dryer Combo about two and a half months ago after I read the reviews about its quiet function, steam and sanitizing features. After having a top loader for eight years which didn't wash clean at all and jumped all over the place when spin drying, I felt justified in spending the extra to acquire a product that boasted better quality and durability. However, from day one I found tiny balls of debris and pieces of rubber on the gasket which I inconveniently had to clean Every time a wash load finished. Additionally, the Washer made a very loud noise during the spin cycle. I wandered about it but continued to use it because it was washing very clean. About a month ago I put three bath rugs to wash and the Washer stopped working in the middle of the wash cycle. No matter what we couldn't get the water to drain out and the door refused to open. I called the company that I bought the Washer and Dryer from in Trinidad and Tobago and they took three weeks to come. During that time the electricity went on three occasions and every time it came back the wash cycle restarted. Eventually my mats started to disintegrate from being in water for so long. When the company electricians eventually came the had to dismount the Washer and tilt it to get it to drain. They discovered a large amount of particles from the rugs and I pointed out pieces of the same strips of rubber that I mentioned earlier in the pump. The technicians indicated that the fault was mine because I am not supposed to wash rugs in the Washer which to me was strange as I'd been accustomed to washing these same rugs, blankets and bedspreads in my top loader for years and based on reviews that I had read this Washer was rated as being robust enough to handle such loads. They also indicated that the drum had fallen because of the weight of the load from the three bath rugs. I was then told that they would have to take the Washer back to the company to have it fully dismounted and repaired and that I would have to stand the expense of replacing the damaged parts. Some because they didn't fall under the warranty like the gasket and the other parts because I was at fault for washing bath rugs in the Washer. I am absolutely disappointed and dissatisfied with this outcome given the short frame of time it to for this product to malfunction and the fact that it did not live up to expectations as provided in reviews and by Electrolux in terms of its performance.
