Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 years and main board went I purchased this dryer and matching washer for a small apartment. We've always went with Maytag or Whirlpool but decided to go with a higher end-or so we thought-and chose Electrolux. The apt is a short term rental, so the dryer was not used often. Just over the 2 year mark it stopped producing hot air. Technician determined it must be the main board. $365 in parts and labor not yet to be determined, I am shocked that I had to deal with this so soon. Sadly we didn't get an extended warranty as we never have with other brands, but will never make that mistake again. We have another unit that was designed with this set in mind, thankfully others are making a 4.0 cu ft ventless dryer now. Nobody cares at the helpdesk, company doesn't stand behind their product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Need to focus on Quality Control and Assurance My review is for the 24", 4cu ft. HE Front Load Ventless Dryer (Model: EFDC210TIW). This is my experience: Delivered May-30; Installed June-06; Operated June-06; Non-functional June-06 within 1hr of running it; On call 5hrs; Service June-11; Currently 10days waiting for small belt and motor parts for repair. Currently bringing laundry to a laundromat. Cannot review a product that did not work from the start. Electrolux: Please spend more time and money on Quality Control and Assurance. You are better than this and your products should work right out of the box. I really hope I can sell this thing now (after it hopefully can be repaired) since the retailer that I purchased this from is not letting me return it. Clearly it is defective.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor I purchased with dryer with matching washer in June 2019 from Costco with 2 years warranty. I thought I should be a higher end so we thought-and chose Electrolux with 2 years from Costco and extra 3 years warranty for extra fees. The dryer stopped working in June 2020 with "E60" error. After I contacted Costco, then Electrolux who were able to send a technician after 5 weeks. He came and replaced 2 parts the heater (136611032) and condensate pump (136402403). Still the dryer is not working. Now the technician is suspecting the problem is the main board. Now I am waiting to get the main board and install it. The dryer is obviously defective but Costco and Electrolux are refusing to replace it with the excuse that it is repairable. We have been taking our laundry to laundromat for 5 weeks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from You can be me - helpless and angry I read reviews about Electrolux products prior to buying my first washer and dryer from them. I read some bad reviews but never thought that I would be one of those unlucky people who ended up with problems because I was never unlucky with any purchase until now. I bought the Electrolux washer and dryer on July 11, 2020. The machines were delivered and installed (the dryer stacked on top of the machine) on July 15, 2020. The dryer has never worked, not even once to date. I contacted the Rona store where I bought them. I was told to contact Electrolux, which I did. After a super long wait, I finally got ahold of an agent. She said that she would send a service technician within 24 to 48 hours. No one showed up. I called the Rona store again. From there, the store manager took over and contacted Electrolux on my behalf. I received texts on July 27, 2020 from Electrolux service technician: see attached. I called the Rona store again, and they did amazing work. Finally, a service technician showed up on July 30, 2020 and refused to work because the dryer was stacked on top of the the washer. This has to be a joke: see attached and you know why? How can I be so cool about the situation? It’s because of the store manager at the Rona store. I can tell that he is really, really trying his best to sort it out for me. Can I say the same for Electrolux people? No. This is why I can’t recommend any product from Electrolux. You may be one of those lucky people with no problems. Or, you can be me that for the first time in your life, you get a broken machine and you are at mercy of the people whom you paid to. Good luck to you if you purchase from Electrolux.
